On April 21, 2026, the Diplomatic Academy under the University of World Economy and Diplomacy held a scientific and practical seminar on “The Contemporary Geostrategic Situation in the Middle East and Uzbekistan,” with the participation of master’s students from the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies and the Diplomatic Academy.
The event's primary goal was to thoroughly examine the geopolitical developments occurring in the Middle East and their implications for Central Asian countries, particularly Uzbekistan and regional cooperation.
The seminar featured discussions among participants on key regional security concerns, the enhancement of economic collaboration, and the integration of transport and logistics networks. Attendees also shared scientific and analytical insights into how geostrategic developments influence both global and regional progress.
The event was attended by the academic staff of the Diplomatic Academy and the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies, as well as PhD candidates and master’s students of UWED.
