On July 22, 2025, the Diplomatic Academy at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy held the final defense of master's dissertations of students of the faculties of Diplomatic and Consular Service and Economic Diplomacy.

The defense was the final stage of master's training, where students presented the results of their scientific research, covering a wide range of topics in the field of foreign policy, international relations, economic diplomacy and global cooperation.

The Certification Committee, which included the management of the Diplomatic Academy, professors, academic supervisors and invited experts, assessed the relevance, scientific novelty and practical significance of the submitted works. A diplomat from the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the UN Office and other international organizations in Geneva, S. Alisherova, also participated in the defense of master's theses via videoconference. Each master's student was given the opportunity to demonstrate not only the depth of theoretical knowledge, but also the ability to think analytically and reasonably defend their own conclusions.
