On April 23, 2025, the University of World Economy and Diplomacy (UWED) hosted a meeting between Sodyq Safaev, First Deputy Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis and Rector of UWED, and a delegation from the Indian educational organization “MERI Group of Institutions,” headed by Vice President, Professor Lalit Aggarwal.

During the meeting, a Memorandum and an Agreement of Cooperation were signed, and the academic curriculum for the upcoming academic year was approved. An article about this agreement was published in the Indian newspaper “The Pioneer”.
